SVS co-hosted a seminar on legislation for promoting workers mutual aid in Korea.
On 17th November, SVS co-hosted a seminar on legislative issues concerning labor mutual aid in Korea. Jointly organized with members of Congresses (Democratic ruling party) working on leveraging mutual aid to enhance social protection for workers, the seminar discussed various legal and policy support issues. By involving in the launch of ‘Poolbbang’ which is an association of 16 member organizations of labor unions, cooperatives and supporting organizations, SVS has been promoting and advocating to establish various forms of workers mutual aids in Korea and the seminar was organized as a part of the efforts.
